I’m a Therapist with a background in Clinical Social Work based in Rapid City. I received my Master’s in Social Work in 2010 and my Ph.D. in Social Work in 2022 from the University of Utah. My research primarily focuses on mindfulness-based interventions for first-generation and at-risk college students.
I believe that each stage of our lives has something unique to teach us if we are willing to be open to those lessons. I strive to create a mindful environment. Our fast-paced culture makes it very difficult to stay present in each moment. But when we are not present and aware of the happenings in our mind and body; anxiety and depression run rampant. I hope to create a space for you that fosters safety, mindfulness, creativity, and a little humor. I grew up in the Black Hills and enjoy spending every minute of free time outside or eating something delicious.
Let’s slow down and remember how to just be.
